PSSI Perspective #9 examines the Czech Republic’s membership in the Russia-led International Investment Bank (IIB), a tool of malign Russian influence. The Perspective examines a long overdue action that should be taken by the government forthwith, arguing that, in the context of the current Czech-Russia diplomatic crisis, the Czech government should take steps to resign its membership in the Bank immediately.

Read the final publication of the PSSI's project: Western Balkans at the Crossroads: Ways Forward in Analyzing External Actors Influence (10/2019-04/2021), which has provided an in-depth investigations and analyses of various aspects and mechanisms of external influences in the Western Balkans. The final edited volume contains fourteen analytical studies that bring to the foresight one common topic - the domestic dimension of external actors’ presences in the Western Balkans.

PSSI’s Latest Report Reveals a New Threat Facing Europe’s National Security and Fundamental Values
PSSI’s Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FSE) report reveals that dozens of US-sanctioned and other Chinese corporate "bad actors" are presently traded on the Frankfurt exchange, including companies involved in national security and human rights abuses. It also treats how the US has set about addressing this same challenge and Beijing's potential efforts to thwart meaningful European remedial action in the language of the EU-China Comprehensive Agreement on Investment (CAI).

PSSI’S NATO SUMMER SCHOOL: Post-COVID Security Priorities
THE APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED.
Since 2005, PSSI has joined forces with the NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division and the Czech Foreign Ministry to offer a select, but intensive, one-week course of study for an elite group of graduate students in political science, international relations, security policy and other relevant fields from NATO member states and partner countries concerning future challenges for NATO and pressing and often under-developed issues on the global security agenda.
Dr. Jana Robinson, PSSI’s Space Security Program Director, discussed live on The Pat Kenny Show, a national radio broadcast in Ireland, the more insidious economic and financial aspects of the U.S - China space race, mainly on display in the competition for international space partnerships.

PSSI Now Accepting Applications for Project Assistant of Regional Security Program focused on Disinformation
PSSI is looking for a Project Assistant for its Regional Security Program. The candidate should be interested in research, analysis and policy-making in disinformation, information warfare and strategic communications. He/she should be able to work part-time (some 20 hr./week) in Spring and Summer 2021, with a possibility to extend the internship for at least another six months. The position will be located in Prague and is suitable for university students in M.A., Ph.D. programs, and young professionals.

PSSI is launching a series of Alumni Briefs, composed of policy analyses/commentaries on current security issues prepared by the alumni of PSSI´s Robinson-Martin Security Scholars Academy, Cyber Security Academy, NATO Summer School, our former interns and colleagues. The goal of these Briefs is to inform and enrich public policy debate and official deliberations on these breaking issues.
