We are now accepting applications for this year's Summer School, which will take place on July 27-August 1, 2025 in Orlík, Czech Republic.
Our prestigious NATO Summer School is organized in cooperation with NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation. Learn more about the project here and this year's edition here.
This intensive one-week course brings together a select group of university students and young professionals seeking to deepen their expertise with regard to the current threat environment and available policy options.
The course includes 12 lectures by Czech and foreign security experts, including sitting and former senior policy practitioners and scholars. Additionally, participants take part in a week-long international crisis simulation based on actual geopolitical circumstances.

- Economic and Financial Statecraft
- Space Security
- The Growing Threat of China
- Disinformation and Hybrid Threats
- Cyber Security
- Russia’s Continued War on Ukraine
FAQ for the 2025 NATO Summer School
Eligibility Criteria:
Graduate students in political science, international relations, security studies and other relevant fields and young professionals in the early stages of their careers. Fluency in English language is required. If you are unsure about your eligibility, do not hesitate to contact us at susienka@pssi.cz.
Fee:
€545 early bird (deadline for applications is on or before April 30, 2025)
€675 normal price (deadline for applications is on or before June 1, 2025)
The fee includes: participation in all lectures and the simulation exercise, study materials, a goodie bag, access to our alumni groups, accommodation in shared rooms from Sunday to Friday, three meals per day, coffee breaks, access to the hotel’s wellness center (pool, sauna, gym), and transportation from Prague to the venue and back.
