Call for Applications: NATO Summer School 2022

We are now receiving applications for this year's Summer School, which will take place on July 3-8 in Orlík, Czech Republic.

Our prestigious NATO Summer School is organized in cooperation with NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. Learn more about the project here. 

This intensive one-week course brings together a select group of graduate students and young professionals seeking to deepen their expertise with regard to the current threat environment and available policy options.

The course includes 15 lectures by Czech and foreign security experts, including sitting and former senior policy practitioners and scholars. Additionally, participants take part in a week- long international crisis simulation based on actual geopolitical circumstances.

Specific topics covered at the 2022 NATO Summer School include:

  • Economic and Financial Statecraft — Space Security
  • Emerging Threats
  • Disinformation
  • Cyber Security
  • Transatlantic Partnership

Eligibility criteria:

Graduate students in political science, international relations, security studies and other relevant fields and professionals in the early stages of their careers. Fluency in English is necessary.

Venue: Hotel Orlík (80 km from Prague)

Fee: 375 EUR (The fee covers the program, accommodation in shared rooms (double or triple room)*, three meals per day, and transport from Prague to the venue)
