24 Feb 2021/PSSI

Dr. Jana Robinson, PSSI’s Space Security Program Director, led the plenary session on “greyzone” space threats at the module 2 of the “Critical Infrastructure Protection” Course

The course was organized under the auspices of the European Security and Defence College (ESDC) by the EU’s Joint Research Centre (DG JRC), the Digital Security Authority (DSA) - National CSIRT-CY of Cyprus, and the National Institute of Research and Development in Informatics (ICI Bucharest, Romania). This three-day training (February 23-25, 2021) is aimed at enhancing knowledge of civil servants and military personnel from EU member states, and EU institutions and agencies, in the areas of cyber, transport, energy, and space. Dr. Robinson reviewed the latest global space security trends and introduced challenges stemming from space hybrid operations, including those stemming from offensive economic and financial operations.
