PSSI Co-Organized an Informal Discussion on Czech-US Relations
On July 29, 2008, PSSI hosted a congressional delegation of three members of the US House of Representatives -- Co-Chair of the Task Force on Terrorism and Proliferation Financing, Stephen F. Lynch (D-MA), Ranking Member of the Energy & Environment Subcommittee, Bob Inglis (R-SC) and Member of the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, Steve Kagan (D-WI). The congressmen were briefed by PSSI Program Director Jiri Schneider and the director of the Institute of International Relations Petr Drulak on the Czech public debate regarding the proposed installation of a US radar base in the Czech Republic and the Czech perspective on transatlantic relations.
