LJ Eads is a former U.S. Air Force Space Network Warfare Officer with a decade of experience supporting the National Air and Space Intelligence Center’s (NASIC) Competing in Space mission, where he focused on Chinese counterspace capabilities and anti-satellite weapons. A foundational developer of the Counter Communications System (CCS)—the U.S. Space Force’s offensive electronic warfare system—he has led allied space collection coordination with Japan, Korea, and Australia. Beyond his operational background, Eads has served as an architect and advocate of major U.S. research security and technology protection policies, including Sections 1260, 1286, 238 of the NDAA and the DETERRENT and BioSecure Acts. He currently serves as Director of Research Intelligence at Parallax Advanced Research and is the Founder of Data Abyss, advancing open-source intelligence platforms and policy frameworks that strengthen democratic resilience and safeguard the U.S. from adversarial space and technology threats.
