On April 9–10, PSSI’s Program Manager Kristína Šefčíková participated in the international conference “Engaging with Conspiracy Theories, Fostering Democracy: Dynamics, Drivers and Defences” held at Charles University in Prague.

Kristína served as Chair of two thematic panels focused on contemporary research into conspiracy theories and their implications for democratic societies. The conference brought together scholars from across Europe and beyond to examine the dynamics, drivers, and consequences of conspiratorial narratives, as well as practical approaches to strengthening democratic resilience, trust, and political self-efficacy.

The event was organised within the framework of the TaCT-FoRSED (Tackling Conspiracy Theories by Fostering Resilience and Political Self-Efficacy in Democracies) project, an EU Horizon initiative in which PSSI researchers actively contribute.
