Jaroslav Hroch - Project Assistant

Jaroslav Hroch joined PSSI as a Project Assistant in January 2018. He participated in the Robinson-Martin Security Scholars Program and is also one of the authors of publication 15 let vysílání českých expertů do civilních misí 2002—2017 written by PSSI with the support of the Czech MFA. Jaroslav is enrolled in two full master programs—International Relations and Security Studies—at Charles University. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Area Studies from Charles University, Faculty of Social Studies. He also studied abroad for one semester in Istanbul, Turkey, and two in Tampere, Finland. His main areas of study are Russia, disinformation, propaganda, conflict and peace studies, and the field of media. He has been also working as a journalist; his articles can be found in Respekt, The Student Times, Reportér, iDNES.cz, Alarm or the Press Freedom Blog by the Finnish Foundation for Media and Development.
