First James Q. Whitaker Lecture at Charles University

The lecture given by Andor Sandor on March 26, 2008 commenced the new joint project between PSSI and Security Studies MA Program at Faculty of Social Sciences


On March 26, 2008 Former Head of Czech Military Intelligence Andor Sandor delivered a two-hour lecture on concepts, terms and structures of intelligence services. He covered a broad array of issues, including combating international terrorism, the transformation of Czechoslovak military intelligence after the fall of Communism or the foreign missions of the Czech Army. The lecture was attended by some 40 students of Robinson-Martin Security Scholars Program and students of MA Security Studies Program. The main purpose of James Q. Whitaker Security Lectures, named after the main supporter of MA Program in Security Studies, is to bring the practitioners from political, security and intelligence fields to academia and thus share with the students their hands on experience in respected areas.
