PSSI Organized Seminar on BMD

Seminar entitled "Ballistic Missile Defense: Security Guarantees for the Czech Republic" took place on January 29, 2008 in Lichtenstejnsky Palace.

On January 29, PSSI in cooperation with the Office of the Government of Czech Republic hosted a seminar entitled 'Ballistic Missile Defense: Security Guarantees for the Czech Republic' with Brig-Gen Patrick J. O’Reilly, Deputy Director of the U.S. Missile Defense Agency, as a keynote speaker. The seminar was aimed at providing technical information about European elements of the ballistic missile defense system and discussing political and military aspects of the cooperation between the Czech Republic and the U.S.
The seminar was a follow-up to the conference “The Third Site: Missile Defense in Europe ,” held on April 19, 2007 and organized by the Prague Security Studies Institute in cooperation with the Atlantic Council of the U.S. held in Washington, DC.
