On November 29, PSSI co-organized a lecture with Peter Pindják from the UN Department of the Slovak Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs. The lecture entitled "Security Aspects of EU Space Policy” is part of Charles University's course "Space Security in the 21st century".
During his lecture, Mr. Pindják analyzed the growing importance of space security in EU space policy, particularly within the framework of the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP). In light of the recently unveiled Space Strategy for Europe and the EU-ESA joint declaration, he explored the current challenges and opportunities for a strong, autonomous, and competitive Europe in space. Mr. Pindják is the co-founder and honorary member of the Slovak Space Policy Association. He frequently lectures and publishes on space security issues.
