PSSI’s Space Security Program Director, Jana Robinson, participated in a tabletop exercise (TTX) organized jointly by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and the Secure World Foundation (SWF) on November 9-10, 2016, in Washington, DC. Some 30 invited experts from government, the private sector and non-governmental entities sought to assess threats to space assets and the associated challenges to preserving a secure space environment under various geopolitical scenarios. The goal was to identify gaps in existing international and national frameworks governing space activities and raise awareness concerning the increasing threats to space operations and services.
