Prague Security Studies Institute, in cooperation with the cultural center Containall, would like to cordially invite you to a public lecture by Dr. Mark Galeotti entitled "What is the real threat from Russia."
Dr. Mark Galeotti is an expert on modern Russia, transnational crime, espionage and security. Transitioning from his former role as Professor of Global Affairs at New York University, Dr. Galeotti is currently a senior research fellow at the Institute of International Relations Prague. You can view his profile here.
Dr. Galeotti's lecture will focus on a discrepancy in the perception of the current Russian politics - some people see Putin determined to push Russia's frontiers as far west as he can go, others believe he is essentially acting defensively. Some see the Kremlin's hand behind every crisis in Europe, from migration to Brexit, others call this paranoia.
The event will start on Thursday, September 08, 2016 at 7:00 pm at the Containall, Cihelna 4, Prague, Czech Republic.
The admission is free and no registration is required. The lecture will be in English!
For more information and updates please visit Facebook event of the lecture.
