On May 19, PSSI Jakub Tomášek participated in the third study trip to Budapest, which was realized as part of project "Secure and Strong: V4 Goes Cyber" led by the Slovak Security Policy Institute (SSPI) and supported by the International Visegrad Fund.

Experts from the Visegrad region held a series of consultations. The first meeting was chaired by Gábor Pozderka from the Hungarian Ministry of Defence and focused on the interlinkage between cyber security and data protection in the Armed Forces. It was followed by a discussion with Gábor Hirsch, Head of ICT Working Group from Alliance for Digital Economy, who highlighted the cyber security concerns in the private sector. Subsequently, Arthur Keleti, Head of the Voluntary Cyber Defense Collaboration, addressed the need for further cooperation of different sectors in protecting critical infrastructure.

In late afternoon, Zsolt Illési, Associate Professor at College of Dunaújváros; and Tomáš Flídr, Member of Board of the Czech Institute of Information Security Managers, took part in a discussion concerning cyber security challenges and the V4 group, which was held at the Corvinus University of Budapest.
