PSSI organized a lecture on Space Security with Peter Marquez

On April 9, PSSI, in cooperation with the Institute of Political Studies at the Charles University and the American Center in Prague, organized a lectures on the topic "U.S. Space Policy at the National Level" that was delivered by Peter Marquez. The lecture, the first from the series of four lectures on Space Security, took place at the American Center in Prague.

Mr. Marquez reviewed the U.S. space policy decision-making process, the purpose of a National Space Policy and its individual elements as they relate to geopolitics, national security, commerce/economy and budget considerations.

Mr. Marquez is the Vice-president for Global Engagement at Planetary Resources, owner of Ascending Node, national consulting firm specializing in space, fellow at the George Marshall Institute and formerly served at the White House as Director for Space Policy at the National Security Council.
