Ambassador Petr Pelz, Executive Director of PSSI over the past two years, has recently left that position and kindly agreed to remain with the Institute as a Senior Fellow. In his new capacity, he will be identifying and developing projects in his areas of expertise (e.g. Afghanistan, military intelligence, security reform, etc.) to the benefit of the Institute.
Ambassador Pelz ably ushered PSSI through a difficult period of transition after the passing of our Co-Founder and first Executive Director Olda Černý in March 2012. We are immensely grateful for his service and his mature, steady leadership of the Institute during that time. PSSI Co-Founder and Chairman Roger Robinson will assume the responsibilities of the Executive Director position.
