PSSI formed a partnership with Canadian Defense & Foreign Affairs Institute

05.04.2014

In June 2013, PSSI and the Canadian Defense & Foreign Affairs Institute (CDFAI) formed a partnership to strengthen the respective international security studies Master’s Degree programs of both Charles University, sponsored by PSSI, and the University of Calgary’s Centre for Military and Strategic Studies, affiliated with CDFAI.

The PSSI-CDFAI partnership will facilitate the exchange of students between both universities and identify and execute opportunities for lectures and other gatherings involving Czech and Canadian students.  The exchange program will commence in the fall of 2014, and provide students with the opportunity for a minimum one-semester course of study.

Both PSSI and CDFAI will further engage with students by offering access to facilities, staff, lectures, conferences and workshops, in addition to incorporating them into our respective alumni networks.

In addition to this new, joint-education platform, both Institutes intend to cooperate together on research projects pertaining to energy security, economic and financial statecraft, and other special projects related to security studies of mutual interest to both entities.
