PSSI's analysis: The Implications of Gazprom's Demise

PSSI has published a brief analysis of the security implications of the EC's anti-trust investigation launched against the Russian energy giant, Gazprom.  Having been treated for years as a political slush fund and foreign policy tool/weapon, Gazprom now appears unprepared for the dramatic change in the global energy architecture (including the U.S. shale gas revolution and European spot market for gas) as well as the new-found political will across Europe to take on the company's long-standing monopolistic practices.  It was prepared by the Institute's Acting Executive Director and Co-Founder, Roger W.
