The conference that will be held on January 26, 2012 in Prague is organized by the Prague Security Studies Institute in cooperation with the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of France and the Embassy of the United States of America. The conference panels will discuss how is Islamism influencing the latest development in the countries affected by the Arab Spring. A solid assessment of Islamism, its ideas, policies, and its recent development and ability to cooperate with other relevant actors, is required in order to understand this phenomenon.
