International Conference: Space Security through the Transatlantic Partnership

The conference, co-organized by the Prague Security Studies Institute (PSSI) and the European Space Policy Institute (ESPI), will be convened on June 12-14, 2011 in Prague.

Space security is rapidly emerging as a crucial dimension of overall global space and security policy. The transatlantic dialogue on space security is already underway but needs significant bolstering. Accordingly, PSSI and ESPI properly identified the usefulness of convening a sizeable gathering of space and security experts, as well as scholars, to help define the challenges ahead and how best to address them in the context of Europe’s long-standing alliance with the U.S. and relationship with Japan.
