26.02.2010
The analysis by Ivan Gabal, GAC; Oldřich Černý, PSSI and Jiří Schneider, PSSI evaluates the Czech Republic's role in negotiations on the European site of missile defense from 2006-2009. The authors examine the role of the Czech government and the Parliament in the domestic political debates and the international negotiations related to the project. The paper further explores the developments of public opinion on missile defense in the Czech Republic.
The purpose of this analysis is to contribute to an informed debate on the issues of national security in the Czech Republic. It seeks to trigger a more responsible
