Friends of Ukraine Network
Since autumn 2003, PASS has been a member of the Friends of Ukraine Network, an international team that supports Ukraine's full integration into Europe and the World. The Friends of Ukraine sponsored the February 2004 Conference “Ukraine in Europe and the World” in Kiev that brought international attention to the challenges and opportunities Ukraine was facing in 2004. Following the conference, PASS helped to bring selected dignitaries to various regions in Ukraine to deliver important messages, with an aim to keeping those issues most important to Ukrainians in focus and to keep an energetic dialogue alive throughout the country’s regions. These initiatives were vindicated during the “Orange Revolution” and PASS remains committed to assisting Ukraine in meeting its present goals and needs.
