The report from PSSI’s 2005 PASS annual conference on “Business and Security: Who Will Pay the Price?” summarizes the conference proceedings. Held on 10–12 October 2005, in Prague, the conference aimed at exploring the crucial link between business and security. The distinguished panelists,drawn from academia, industry and government from all over the world, addressed a broad range of issues including security-minded corporate governance, business perspectives on global security and threat assessments, challenges to international insurance companies, and what should be the proper role of multilateral institutions, such as NATO and the EU. In addition, the publication presents the “Security-Minded Corporate Governance Principles” adopted at the conference.
